The Japanese Wagyu World Auction is a prestigious industry event in Japan that showcases the country’s finest wagyu brands, including Kobe, Matsusaka, and Ōmi, to elite buyers from around the world. The Gold Award represents the single highest-quality carcass at the event, with each brand presenting its very best selection. More than an auction, it is a celebration of wagyu craftsmanship and a stage for true bragging rights among those who travel directly to Japan in search of the world’s best wagyu.

We are proud to have won the Kobe Beef Gold Award in both 2024 and 2025 at the Japanese Wagyu World Auction, held during the Himeji Wagyu Master event in Hyogo Prefecture. Each win reflects our ability to identify the top Kobe Beef carcass presented at the event. Our customers purchase the winning carcass on site, and Trex imports it directly for them, providing rare access to an unmatched product.

Sales of genuine Kobe Beef are strictly limited to members of the Kobe Beef Association—which includes certified farms, wholesalers, retailers, and restaurants. All certified establishments are officially listed on the Kobe Beef Marketing Association’s website.
